Launch of the new Carmarthenshire Cluster Group
To launch the Carmarthenshire FEI Cluster Group and to celebrate the International Year of the Forest, we are holding a FREE TREES Event at Carmarthenshire County Council's Llyn Llech Owain Country Park on Saturday 18 February 2012 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.
We are happy to have the event opened by former Welsh Assembly Minister for the Environment and Sustainability Jane Davidson, who is now the Director of INSPIRE (Institute for Sustainable Practice, Innovation and Resource Efficiency) at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David.
Deciduous woodland trees have been donated by the Woodland Trust and will be available for collection on the day. There will also be a tree planting demonstration and various activities such as guided walks, Earth Education activities, and storytelling.
