FEI England meeting minutes Sep 2011
Apologies to those of you who have been awaiting an update about the future of FEI in England. The notes from the last FEI England meeting are attached, which outline the future of FEI in the next financial year, ie from April 2012.
The initiative will morph into a forest education network, with the intention of keeping the momentum going locally. Please be aware that all partners are hugely supportive of the local cluster group networks, and this is down to your hard work. However, there will be no future funding for projects until a suitable grant can be found - (any potential national pots of money - let me know!)
Please feel free to ask any questions, and I will endeavour to answer them! I am optimistic that a new host organisation will be found to take on the new forest education network, and we will continue to grow in numbers and diversity of forest education projects.
