We aim to increase local young people's understanding of the importance of trees, timber and the sustainable management of woodlands through our group, which is a network of interested parties and individuals.

We try to use many different approaches to educate, often looking at a different project annually or bi-annually.

Previous projects have included commissioning a theatre group to produce and perform an interactive drama, organising a woodland festival, the use of IT facilities at a local newspaper allowing children to create their own newspaper and currently creating physical resources to use/loan at events and with local schools.

We are currently working on several projects including storysacks, a schools competition and an interactive CD ROM.
