It is possible to apply for funding from many organisations regardless of where your cluster group is based,  however other funds are specific to the country where your cluster is located.

Scotland

Forestry for People Challenge Fund

The Forestry for People Challenge Fund (F4P) is administered by Forestry Commission Scotland. It covers all Scotland and supports local involvement in woodland projects for health, learning and strengthening communities. Health and education proposals should either align with Forestry Commission Scotland’s Woods for Health Strategy, the Woods for Learning Strategy, or tie into the work of local Forest Education Initiative groups (if relevant to your area).  Match funding requirements are 10% for up to £5k, 25% for up to £20k

And 50% for up to and exceeding £75k in total.  This fund is paid retrospectively in instalments and can be applied for for projects which span more than one year.

The process looks more complicated than it is – contact your local coordinator for advice.
